Pool care FAQ

Maintenance, equipment and restoration.

How often should a private pool be professionally serviced in Los Angeles?

Most residential pools in greater Los Angeles need professional service once each week. Pools with overflow edges, heavy use, mature landscaping, coastal exposure or complex automation may need additional monitoring. NIVORA sets frequency after measuring the pool’s chemistry, circulation, environment and seasonal load.

What is included in NIVORA Signature Maintenance?

Each visit includes a 40-point pool and equipment inspection, water testing and balancing, precision cleaning, waterline detailing, basket and filter checks, equipment observations, and a digital report with photos. Seasonal planning and priority response are included for active members.

Do you repair pool pumps, heaters, filters and automation systems?

Yes. NIVORA diagnoses and repairs pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, chemical controllers, valves, lighting and pool automation. We first test the connected hydraulic system so the repair addresses the cause rather than only the visible symptom.

How do I know when a pool needs resurfacing?

Common signs include roughness, widespread discoloration, exposed aggregate, delamination, recurring stains, cracks or water loss that cannot be explained by plumbing. A surface assessment should also check the substrate, waterline, coping and hydraulics before a new finish is specified.

Can NIVORA take over from another pool service company?

Yes. We begin with a baseline assessment of chemistry, equipment, surface condition and operating schedules. You receive a written transition plan identifying immediate corrections, deferred recommendations and the proposed ongoing care standard.

Do you service saltwater pools?

Yes. Saltwater pools still require complete chemistry management. We inspect cell performance, salt concentration, pH rise, calcium balance, bonding, corrosion risk and circulation so the system produces chlorine without shortening the life of finishes or equipment.

Which Los Angeles neighborhoods do you serve?

Our core service area includes Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica and West Hollywood. Nearby properties are considered individually based on route capacity and service requirements.

How quickly can you respond to an urgent pool problem?

Active maintenance members receive priority response, normally within 24 hours during service days. For safety issues, major leaks or equipment shutdowns, call directly so we can triage the property and advise the safest immediate action.

Are service reports included after every visit?

Yes. The report records measured water values, completed tasks, equipment observations, technician notes, photographs and the next planned visit. It creates a usable history of the pool rather than a simple completion notification.

How does a private assessment work?

After a short call, a NIVORA specialist visits the property, documents the pool and equipment, tests the water, reviews current operation and discusses priorities. You then receive a concise scope with recommended next steps and no obligation to proceed.
